Collaborating with his brother DJ Pied Piper, Unknown MC played a pivotal role in infusing rap influences into the garage scene. They later joined forces with influential UK garage artists MC Creed, PSG, and Valarie M to form the garage group Da Click. Their single “Good Rhymes” reached an impressive position of no. 15 on the UK National charts in 1998, after being signed by Pete Tong and Phil Faversham to London Records.
In 2001, Unknown MC and DJ Pied Piper achieved massive success with their number one hit “Do You Really Like It,” which dominated both the UK charts and the UKG industry. The track, signed to Ministry of Sound and Relentless Records by Shabs and Ben Cook, was played in clubs, houses, and cars worldwide. It sold over 475,000 copies in the UK alone, solidifying its status as an all-time UK Garage classic and a popular dance floor filler in Ayia Napa, even to this day.
