DJ Paniks music career began in 1997 as a techno and hard techno DJ. Panik quickly became a successful up and coming artist and took his interest in music further . His knowledge and unique sound was quickly acknowledged by the music industry and in the Millennium, as little as 9 months later his first official release was on sale. ‘Cooperate 002’ on ‘Isotope23’ (a sub label network 23 / Spiral Tribe imprint) was a huge success. In 2000-2005 his underground presence became very predominant having 22 releases on several underground labels such as:

  • Le Diable, Au Corps
  • Heretic
  • Skwat Records
  • Tekita

It was in 2005 that DJ Paniks career took a different direction and he naturally progressed into production in the Drum & Bass industry. With a string of releases already with Breakbeat Kaos , Finn People , Drum Orange , Streetlife , Nu Urban , Source Recordings UK and the launch of his own label ‘Disturbing Science ‘ has made DJ Panik a well respected producer and DJ within the industry as well as a successful residential radio show on ‘Kunninmindz’.

‘Disturbing Science’ featured releases from Nero , Taxman , Nightwalker , Dubalty to mention a few and has become a household name for the harder DnB music lovers. Media exposure soon followed with a feature in Knowledge Magazine, arguably the biggest DNB magazine in the world which only a few French producers have had the opportunity to be featured in. 2007 DJ Panik was awarded the winner with M-rode of the BreakBeat Kaos / DOA competition, an amazing achievement, giving him even more support, recognition and respect from some of the industry biggest names.
